Laptop Barebone?

I think there are such things as Laptop Barebones, but I could be wrong. Does anyone know of a link to a tutorial on how to make a Laptop, from scratch…? I’ve built multiple PC’s and am looking for a challenge with a Notebook…. Thanks, will select a “best answer”

There are such things as barebone laptops. Dabs.com do one – Asustek S96S Notebook Chassis. But there isn’t any other info with it.

Since it’s just a chassis, you’ll need to source a mobo, processor, heatsink, hard drive and all the associated peripherals…

It’s a noble idea to progress to building your own laptop, but I reckon the available chassis’ are limited.

By their very nature, laptops are integrated and usually you can get a basic system with several great whistles and bells, to which you can add a faster processor or more storage and extra RAM…
