Ecclesia LABs
The Bible is packed. There is so much in there that we don't always have time to process it all. Sometimes during a sermon, something will come up that you really need to wrestle with. You need to have a conversation or some in depth discussion on it, but in the middle of a worship service really isn't the right time to do it. That is why we have Ecclesia Labs. Labs are our attempt to make space to dig deeper into the ways the passages we are studying really impacts our lives. Labs will occur in one month segments, during which we will set aside about an hour of our Sunday evening to break into smaller groups to focus on specific topics related to our sermon series. These hour long sessions are a place where we can:
• Discuss in detail specific issues related to the passages we are studying
• Get some more practical training on how to live out something Jesus has commanded us to do
• Wrestle with some of the more difficult or important ideas that the Bible teaches
The goal of these Labs is not just to have an interesting discussion, but to be better equipped to live a life in line with what Jesus is doing in the world. The goal is to be trained for our mission. We hope that by diving in a little deeper that we will be better at loving God, growing together, and reaching the world.
